Events and Information

The Monmouth County Special Needs Registry is a voluntary service open to all citizens with special needs who reside, attend school or are employed in Monmouth County. The registry was created to help police officers and other emergency service personnel better assist residents with special needs in the event of an emergency by providing those first responders with vital information regarding a registrant’s special needs, emergency contact information, physical description and current photograph of the registrant. This is a completely free event and all information is kept confidential.

The registry event will take place on Tuesday, October 24 from 3:00 p.m.- 5:30 p.m. at the Joseph C. Caruso Elementary School located at 81 Frances Place, Keansburg. I have attached a brochure and paperwork for the event. If you would like to provide students in your district with the information, their families can register them at our event. Please let me know if you are interested.

STRIVE Public Presentation 3/2017

Parental Rights in Special Education (PRISE)

Revised as of February 2, 2015 "NJ Administrative Code Chapter 14 Title 6A"

As a member of the Regional Professional Development Academy, it is my pleasure to share with you the 2017-2018 brochure of workshop offerings.

As you know, the focus of this academy is to support educators on interventions and strategies working with students with IEPs. Autism, Applying Principles of Co-Teaching, and Behavior Management are just a few of the topics covered.

If you are interested in attending, you must follow district protocol and complete a professional development form in a timely manner.
