Elections:

If you are interested in running for an executive board position, you need to write a letter of interest to the executive board, about one page, typed, double spaced about why you are the best person for that position.

Letters are due in my mailbox no later than Friday, May 22.  At that time, the executive board will meet and slate (or back) one candidate who they feel is best for each position.  This does not mean that this slated person automatically wins the position-- it simply just means that they have the backing of the executive board and they feel that this person is the most appropriate candidate.  Candidates have to read speeches at the general election meeting and all members will vote at that time.
