Book Reports/Projects

Book reports are assigned monthly. The report will vary from month to month and your child will be given ample time to read the book and complete the report. The first book report will be assigned at the start of October. Listed below you will see any upcoming reports/projects.

Use the following guidelines to help your child successfully complete each book report:
1. Be sure to choose a book that is appropriate for their reading level. Make sure the book your child chooses is not too hard or easy for them to read.
2. Discuss the book with your child as they read it. Whether you read together or if your child reads the book alone, it is important to have discussions throughout the story so that you are sure your child is comprehending it.
3. Plan ahead! Think about how long your child will need to read the book and complete the project so that you are not trying to cram the whole project into one week. Managing time appropriately will result in less frustration for you and your child!
