Monday: We reviewed the elements of fairy tales, learned what goes into a "good story", and began to work in cooperative groups to create our own tales during readers' workshop. We learned the spelling pattern of or but will not have new words this week.  We identified solid shapes in common objects in math. We celebrated Brydon's birthday. Double specials were art and gym. We had a marvelous Monday!

Thursday: "Snow" day holiday

Tuesday: We had our math lesson about using plane shapes to create architecture taught by Mrs. Tufaro.  We learned about a character's point of view during readers' workshop, and began to rewrite a story (My New Boy) from another character's point of view. We watched our Salsa video.  Special was gym. We had a terrific Tuesday!

Friday: Memorial Day holiday
