Course Objectives:
During the course of the semester we will examine the role of the press, news gathering techniques, writing styles, headlines, interviews, and editorials. We will explore and analyze newspapers and magazines, write articles, and publish newspapers. As part of the course requirement students will submit two articles to the school newspaper, The Sting, for publication.   Study Guides
