Using this Web Site
Parents and students alike can use this web site to keep up with class assignments and activities.  On each web page are links to a course homework calendar which will be updated at the end of each school day.  By simply selecting the homework page for the course in which the student is enrolled (either Anthropology/Sociology, US2 Homework or AP US2), you will be connected to the appropriate homework calendar.  This calendar will have both major, long-term projects and shorter, daily assignments.

Course Philosophy
In class students not only consider important events, we also connect these events to contemporary phenomena.  Through a wide variety of in-class and homework activities, students are encouraged to freely express their understandings of course material and critically examine ideas and events.  I hope that each student puts forth their best effort to understand how course topics relate to trends in today’s society and their own lives.

Contacting Me
I welcome input from students’ families. The best way to reach me is through e-mail, which I check each school day.
