Dear Friends,
With the new school year in full swing, the
Holmdel Foundation for
Educational Excellence (HFEE) is reaching out to everyone in the
community to ask for monetary support for its ongoing mission to provide
critical enhancements to the Holmdel School District curriculum not
otherwise available through public funding. The enhancements we provide
afford students an excellent education that amply prepares them to meet
21st century challenges.
The HFEE proudly supports all academic areas including the arts,
sciences, languages and athletics at all grade levels for the overall
benefit of Holmdel District students. Since it was founded in 1996, with
your generous financial support, the HFEE has raised over one and a half
million dollars. This money has gone directly back to the students in
the form of innovative programs, advanced learning tools and materials
and improved equipment. Our philosophy of working in close cooperation
with the Board of Education, administration, teachers and a diverse
group of community based organizations and individuals allows the HFEE
to make the most positive impact possible on student education from
every dollar donated.
The margin of excellence that Holmdel District Schools enjoy is becoming
increasingly more difficult to maintain due to state mandated budget
caps and reduced state aid. This is why we need your support now more
than ever. Please make a tax-deductible contribution to the HFEE at a
level you deem appropriate and have your name added to our annual Honor
