Holmdel High School’s art program offers students a comprehensive
study of the visual language. Each course includes production,
art history, criticism and aesthetics. Learning activities such
as studio projects, discussions, readings, videos, lectures,
demonstrations and field trips support the fundamental belief
that through the arts students can better interpret, understand
and appreciate the world. Learning through the visual arts stimulates
creativity and reflection and promotes a deeper understanding
of knowledge across disciplines.
