Hello Everyone!

Please accept my apologies for the delay in posting a new message; time does fly when you are having fun! I do, however, have some important news to share with you:

The Winter Season "Meet the Coaches Night" scheduled for this evening has been postponed; it is re-scheduled for next Monday, December 15th @ 7:00 pm in the Main Gym.

It is holiday concert time!  First up will be our annual Winter Chorus and Bells Concert, to be held this Thursday, Dec. 11th @ 7:30 pm in the Auditorium. This will be followed by our Winter Instrumental Concert on Monday, December 22nd @ 7:00 pm in the Auditorium. Both performances showcase our many talented vocalists and musicians, and I hope you can attend. As always, admission is FREE!

Interim Reports for Marking Period 2 will be distributed directly to students on Tuesday, Dec. 16th at the end of the day. An e-mail reminder will be sent out -- in fact, more and more information will be distributed via parent e-mail, so if you haven't already done so, please send us yours! You can send a quick note directly to Ms. DeDonato (adedonato@holmdelschools.org) in the Main Office, and she will see that you are added to our list.

Holmdel High School, in conjunction with the Holmdel Police Department and the Monmouth County Emergency Response Team (MOCERT), will be participating in a "live" intruder drill next Wednesday, December 17th. The drill will begin sometime before 8:00 am and will last approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours. During that time entrance into the high school will be restricted, so we ask that you wait until after 10:00 am to conduct any business in the high school.

Finally, Tuesday, Dec. 23rd will be an abbreviated day (dismissal @ 11:51am), as we close for Winter Break; we will re-open on Monday, January 5th, 2009! Until then, please enjoy a restful and joyous holiday season, and a Happy New Year!
