Scoring Guide (Rubrics)
Each of the six-plus-one traits is scored on a five point rubric. The better a writer does with one of the traits, the higher the score.
The following explanations of scores explain the qualities found in a 5, a 3, and a 1. The even numbered scores would have more qualities than the lower odd number, but fewer qualities than the higher odd number. For example, a score of 4 would be more qualities than the 3, but fewer than the 5.
