Directories

A directory helps to direct you to the correct place or to certain information.  There are different styles of directories.  For example, phone books are often called phone directories. 

A very common style of directory looks like a map of a very small geographic area or a very large building.  Generally, this type of directory provides information about where a specific business is located in a building or in a small, business-filled area.  These directories frequently have keys to help you interpret them.
