Driving Directions
Driving directions allow someone to navigate a road vehicle from one location to another.
When creating driving directions, it is extremely important that the directions be written clearly and in order. If steps are out of order, the driver could end up lost or endangered, especially if the directions are not in agreement with driving laws (such as one-way streets, on- and off-ramps, and directives such as "Do Not Enter" and "No Right Turn").
You may want to include in driving directions any of the following items:
Approximate times/distances
Total drive time/distance
Images/pictures/maps/diagrams
Landmarks/points along the way
Which lane to be in on multi-lane roads or for exiting
You might consider providing alternate routes
Consider whether there have been recent changes/roadwork
