Informational Posters
Information posters (which are different than artistic posters) can provide passersby with a quick reference guide that is easily understood. Movie theaters often rely on posters to advertise their services and upcoming shows. The combination of an image with some specific written information can be very powerful.
Posters are similar to billboards - they often feature eye-catching graphics and some large-print, important words - but posters are much smaller, and often include several lines of smaller text in addition to their eye-catchers, since the reader should be able to walk up and spend time reading a poster.
