Magazines

Magazines are usually monthly (or sometimes weekly) printed materials that contain information; usually, all the information is about related topics.

Like newspapers, magazines have articles that are written by reporters, then chosen for publication and edited by editors.  The articles are usually longer and more in-depth than newspaper stories, because magazine reporters usually have a longer amount of time between editions to prepare their stories.  The articles also often have a lot more opinion in them, rather than being more factual, as newspaper stories are.

Magazines tend to be more expensive than newspapers because they use a higher quality of paper and ink.

Their costs are often defrayed through advertising, and those advertisers often expect the magazine to reflect well on their products, so there is often a bias found in magazines.
