Schedules
A schedule provides information about the time (and sometimes location) certain events are going to occur.
Schedules can be very useful organizational tools. They also can provide very important information. For example, all public transportation systems and most major private transportation businesses have schedules they follow. This can be very useful if you are planning to spend the day in New York City and do not want to deal with the hassle of driving your car and finding parking spots - instead, you can take a bus or subway around town.
Click here to view a New York subway schedule. Notice that it uses a combination of text pages that provide written information, a map of where the subway runs, and a schedule that cross-references where and when the trains run.
The trick to a schedule is learning how to interpret it. Some schedules can appear very confusing. You should always look for a key or guide somewhere on the schedule that can help you understand what you are viewing.
