Checking your spelling with Google Docs

Google Docs has a built-in spelling checker.
REMEMBER: Just because the computer thinks it isn't correct doesn't necessarily mean it really isn't correct.
Open your document.
Go to the "View" menu.
Make sure "Show spelling suggestions" has a check mark next to it.
Any words that are underlined with a red squiggle are thought by Google to be misspelled.
To see alternatives, right-click on the underlined word. A list should appear.
To choose one of the offered alternatives, move your mouse over the choice you like, then click.
The misspelled word will be replaced by your choice.
