Exclamatory Sentence

Ø      Exclamatory – Makes an exclamation – ends with an exclamation point (!)

• I can't believe you did that!

• You are amazing, but I still can't stand you!

• Even though I saw that happen, I still can't believe it!

• Although you saved my life, I can't help but wonder why; you're usually so evil!

Don't confuse an exclamatory sentence with an interjection - an interjection is NOT a sentence!

An exclamatory sentence can be any one of the four types of sentence.
