Online Safety Basics
REMEMBER: When you are asked to select "OK" or "Cancel", or when you must decide whether or not you "agree" before you are allowed to continue, read what it says before you make your choice! Reading and comprehension are your most important safety features.
Some other basics to bear in mind:
In some situations, it is okay to talk to people you don't know online, but you should not give them any personal information without an adult's permission.
Don't post pictures of yourself or others that will reveal personal information. Pics with uniforms, signs, or other easy-to-identify images make it very easy for predators to either find you in person or scam you online.
