Right There
“RIGHT THERE” questions have one specific answer that is correct. They ask students to respond at the literal level; the words used to answer the questions can be found “right there” in the same sentence of the text.
"Right There" questions have answers that are found in the book. You can point to one part of one sentence with one finger and have the entire answer to the question.
Right There questions are knowledge questions; they check you ability to remember specific details.
Example:
What is one book Anne Frank wanted for her thirteenth birthday?
Right There questions may begin with words such as:
Who is…
Where is…
List...
How many...
What is…
When is…
Remember: The answer is in one place in the text.
