When to Study

Before studying:
- Have a HEALTHY snack
- Drink a glass of water
- FREQUENCY is more important than Quantity – If you
study often for a little while every time, you’ll be better off than if you
study in one huge chunk.

CONSISTENCY is important - study at the same time on
the same day of the week every week.
- If you only study on Monday, study at the same time every Monday.
- If you study on more than one day every week, try to do it at the same
time every day;
- otherwise, try to do it at the same time every Monday, and at the same
time on every Tuesday...

Take a break – 5 minutes of break for every 20 minutes
of studying is good
- For most people, the closer to "right after school" you study, the
better off you will be - most people's brains work better earlier in the
evening than they do late at night
- Review your notes 1 hour/1 day/1 week/1 month after taking them
