Summary

After you have read or watched something, you can write a summary about that information.  A summary tries to capture the main ideas of what you watched or read.  It leaves out most of the details.

When writing a summary for a piece of fiction, you should never give away the ending.  If you liked the story, you should try to write the summary in a way that would entice new readers.

When summarizing non-fiction information, be sure to include all the important information, including the ending.
