SPECIAL EVENTS

Do you like your pancakes and waffles drizzled with syrup?  Do you know the difference between Mrs. Butterworth’s syrup and tree-tapped maple syrup?  If you are interested you can find out on Wednesday, march 14 when a group of students attend a field trip to the Kateri Environmental Center.  This trip is designed to give interested students a chance to discover the folklore and science of maple sugaring.  Learn how trees are tapped and take part in a maple syrup taste test.]

If you are a 7^th grader and are interested in joining us that day, please complete the Maple Sugaring Quiz and return it to Mrs. Barth by February 21.  The trip is limited to 20 students so please get your quiz in if you plan on being a part of the experience.  See Mrs. Barth for info.

Don’t forget the boxtop contest - Every HR that collects 1,000 boxtops gets a prize, whether they win the contest or not. One HR in each grade will win a grand prize for collecting the most boxtops in the grade. Contest ends Tuesday, Feb 28th.

SPORTS

There will be a meeting for anyone interested in playing on the Satz baseball team on Wednesday, Feb. 125 at 3:15 in the cafeteria.  Tryouts will begin on March 5^th.  All candidates must be cleared by the nurse.
