Crawfords Corner Traffic Needs and Improvement Plan

During the Committee of the Whole meeting of the Holmdel Board of Education on March 20, 2024, a completed prospective road project proposal was presented and thoroughly discussed.

The Board of Education engaged their architects of record, Spiezle and CME Engineering Group, to conduct an analysis of traffic patterns within the middle school and high school complex. Their task included designing modifications and enhancements to the roadways and district drives which serve to improve traffic flow on and around the Middle and High School complex.

This study was initiated with a focus on next year's plans for aligning school start times at both the middle school and high school. The proposal, titled the Crawfords Corner Traffic Needs and Improvement Plan (CCTNIP) was funded by the board. It has recently been shared with the Holmdel Township Committee for potential inclusion in their upcoming year's capital improvement projects.
