To: All Schools, Places of Worship, Hospitals, etc.
The Holmdel Police Department is requesting that you provide us with the names of any Holmdel resident who is missing, or has lost, a loved one as a result of the recent terrorist attacks on our Country. Holmdel Police are coordinating with New York authorities and compiling a list to serve as a “clearing house” for notifications.
If you should become aware of any Holmdel resident who has not yet reported their loved one missing, they should also contact the Holmdel Police at 946-4400. Our Officers are assisting NYPD by entering subjects into the National Crime Information Center. If need be, Holmdel Officers can respond to their home with the appropriate forms to take the report. This will save them from having to make the report directly to New York authorities.
Please encourage any such people to notify the Holmdel Police, or please take the time to do it for them. Personnel will be at the phones 24-hours a day.
If you have any questions, please contact my office and speak to Sergeant John Mioduszewski or Liz Bird.
Sincerely,
R. Bruce Phillips
Chief of Police
