Dear School Community, 

On behalf of the Board of Education, we extend a warm welcome to all students, families, faculty and staff as we begin another exciting school year! The first day of school is always filled with energy, hope, and possibility, and we look forward to building on the strong foundation our community has created together.  

As a Board, we are proud of the academic gains our district has made over the past few years, and we are committed to sustaining that progress while enhancing the overall student experience. Just as importantly, we remain focused on fostering a positive school culture where every student feels safe, supported, and inspired to succeed.  

This year, we will continue to strengthen our communication and transparency with families and the broader Holmel community. Our Board of Education newsletters (legacy S’mores) will now be distributed through the ParentSquare application and continue to be a critical way for us to share updates, celebrate accomplishments, and keep the community directly informed about district priorities, challenges, and progress.  

Students - a new school year is a fresh start, full of opportunities to learn, grow, and discover new things about yourself and the world around you. Remember, every day is a chance to take on challenges, build friendships, make a difference, and #LiveHolmdelBlue!   

Faculty, Staff, and Administrators - we appreciate you! Your dedication, professionalism, and tireless commitment make all the difference for our students every day.
