June 15, 2026
Dear Holmdel Township School Community,

I hope this message finds you well. As the 2025-26 school year comes to a close, Thursday will bring with it a host of auspicious occasions as we mark our students' transitions to new grades, new schools, and of course, June 18, 2026, marks another graduation milestone, the 53rd class to receive diplomas at Holmdel High School.

Our graduating seniors have been enjoying a host of memorable events and rites of passage, from the senior prom to the senior awards ceremony, class trips, as well as the upcoming senior walk on Thursday when they’ll have an opportunity to be cheered on by students and staff at each of the district’s schools. Please join me in congratulating all of our students for the successful completion of another school year and our graduating seniors on reaching this momentous milestone. We wish them all the best for success in their future endeavors.

Graduation Live Streams: As previously shared, the Satz and High School graduation ceremonies will take place on Thursday, June 18th. The events will be live-streamed for family members and friends who may not be able to travel to the ceremony in person. The links will be activated and shared in closer proximity to the date and time of the ceremony. Links are below and will also be available on the website of each school.

Summer Assignments

As we prepare for the upcoming school year, students are expected to complete summer assignments in English, Science, Math, and Social Studies. These assignments are designed to reinforce key skills, promote critical thinking, and ensure a strong start in September. Please review the links above for each subject's summer work, organized by grade level and course placement.

We encourage families to help students manage their time over the summer to complete these tasks thoughtfully and on schedule.

These assignments are also available on the Holmdel Township Public Schools website and each content supervisor's website. Have a wonderful summer!

Note: These assignments do not fulfill the summer waiver assignments for eligibility to enroll in an advanced course, such as AP or Honors. These assignments are in addition to those."

Water Safety Reminder

As families head into the summer, the County has shared this important water safety public service announcement with school districts across the region. Whether at the pool, the beach, or even around the home, drowning can happen quickly and quietly.

We encourage all parents and caregivers to take a moment to review these simple but potentially life-saving tips, including the importance of active supervision, early swim instruction, and understanding that flotation devices are not a substitute for adult attention.

A few seconds can make all the difference—please take a moment to read and share this important reminder with your family.
