Remembering Colin Sharpe – A Message to Our Holmdel School Community

Dear Members of the Holmdel Township School Community,

Today marks one week since the tragic passing of Colin Sharpe, a Holmdel High School graduate. His loss has been deeply felt throughout our school community.

Colin will be remembered as a kind, genuinely good-natured young man, a good friend and classmate, and a student-athlete who was part of the fabric of our school community. His passing is a tremendous loss to all who knew him.

Earlier today, I had the opportunity to visit with the Sharpe family and pay my respects. They graciously gave their blessing for me to share this message with our school community.

Please join me in keeping the Sharpe family in your thoughts and prayers during this extremely difficult time. May they find comfort in knowing that our community is thinking of them and holding Colin's memory close.

With deepest sympathy,

J. Scott Cascone, Ed.D.
